Hey I just took apart my truck tonight to install my new sleeves and one of them is drilled to small to fit around my tierod!!!!! I was wondering if any body else has had this problem before? I bought my sleeves from Crank it up diesel, and they only sell parts for duramaxs, so this seems odd. Are there diffrent size rods on diffrent years? Guess there wont be any good launches for another week or so.

That is where mine came from. They are all the same size. There's not just a burr on the edge keeping it from going on is it? If not i would say it was just a fluke. Call them up and get them to send you another.

I might drill it, but Im a little worried they might want me to send it back. Also did you have to take the tierod completely off and put it in a vice, because even with vicegrips on the rod I cant get the good one to thread all the way on, the threads are very rough!

Well guess I will send them back monday, With my new sleeves and high boosted launches is under 5 seconds 0-60 possible. That will be my goal even with 35x12.50s, Am I crazy?

Did you clean the threads on the innner with a wire brush?
Dont put vicegrips on it, youll mess the threads up!!!!
Turning the inner rod will give you more threads, youll just have to get an alignment after.
