Need some help with truck

My girlfriend has a 04.5 LLY with 160,000 miles. Here latley the truck feels down on power a little bit but is not a dog but you can feel a difference. And when you floor it about 3krpm and up it makes some clattering noise.. Its only does it in high rpms.. Someone told me the injectors may be gummed up? We bought the truck from a landscaping company when it was a little over 100k and I know they had to let the truck idle alot.. What do yall think it may be? Is it possible the injectors are going out?

blow blue smoke like under WOT?? I recently put a MP8 on her truck. It did the clattering before I put it on there. THe MP8 helped with performance a little but it still does that clattering under High RPMs and WOT. Its just like 3k and up. Its not like the motor is coming apart clattering its kinda like valve clatter in a way..

Is it possible to have a sticky valve? Maybe theres alot of carbon buildup in the head, possibly from the idleing?

Sticky valve? Which valve?? Is there anyway to clean out the carbon buildup?

I was just throwing out a suggestion as I'm just getting started in the diesel world... but I know that a sticky valve would cause the chatter in the upper RPM's, as to fix it im not sure what you would do for a diesel...

I know alot of people use Seafoam to clean out the carbon in the gasoline engines (and by looking on their page it also looks like it can be used in diesels)... but I would wait on someone to verify this first tho because I am meerly speculating...

What about the fuel quality? Maybe you got a bad batch along the way?
