Auto Meter Guages

Do any of the auto meter gauges have dimming on the illumination like the trucks gauge cluster?

You can wire them into the controller and dim them like the factory dash lights.

I would check out the cobalts. They are what i run and i think they look great.

Autometer does make a dimmer that you can add in. Id definatly do that if you want to dim it. Alot of people try to run it into the factory dimmer which works but it can make your factory dimmer switch go bad. Auto Meter

Heres a pic of my gauges. I have the Ultra lite II which are silver during the day and turn dark or black at night. Mine dont hurt my eyes at all.

Also, if you are looking into getting Auto Meter gauges be aware from my experience that the LED gauges do NOT dim well. I have them wired into the external switch like stated above and although they look amazing they are BRIGHT! Especially on those long dark highways... And they only have like 3 "stages" of dimming, Really Bright, Bright, or Off... Just an FYI

Yeah....my wife has blue LED's factory wired in her car...and at their dimmest.....they are brighter than mine at full blast...
