| Smelling a burning smell I have a 05 lly Dmax I installed a mbrp 5 inch straight exhaust with a down pipe. Now after I drive it I smell like a burning or hot smell |

| When I installed my exhaust I noticed a little bit of oil on the inside of the exhaust and it took a couple days for it to stop smelling. Sent by my thumbs....

| then your probably just smeeling the difference in your exhaust...after the cat is off it smells more like a raw burnt diesel smell. way differnt smell its funny because whenever i smell stock duramax exhaust, it reminds me of when i first got my truck.
