| whats this front cover? ![]() never found a need for one. let it run for 15 mins on hi idle and it warms up fine. im talking teens to single digits. i never plug mine in either. starts fine. its a truck, not a baby. shit, some days i hop in and go in the 20's. tranny wont shift into 5th until the temps are up to right temp and by the rpm's being higher than normal it helps the process.

| Diesels like heat. Less fuel from idling, better mpg and after what I paid for this thing, I want it to last.

| Sure this winter. But it was only a couple of years ago we were below 0 for about a month everybody around here is getting spoiled with the mild winters the last 2 years we're due for a bad one again sometime.

Took off the other day and is was -10F, didn't let the truck warm up enough and it was not liking me at all either. Once I got on the highway I had no trouble getting the truck up to full temp (180F) in about 15 mins though. Up north those grille covers are a must have IMHO.
