Winter Front ?

I live in Northern Illinois and occasionally take trips to Minnesota to go ice fishing on my 04.5 do I need a winter front? I rarely tow in the winter and this truck will be my daily driver.

You don't need one. If it gets cold -20 or so you might want one though.

Not factory ones!

I wouldnt be overly concerned with having one. I ran my truck one winter without and saw regular temps of -35c and never saw much difference only on warm up does it make a huge difference i found. Going down the highway in winter or summer my temp stays pretty much the same.
