How do you know--ice pick trick

How do you know if you need to do the ice pick trick to your injector harness? What are the signs of it being a problem?

You'll have no power when you hit a hill (mine dropped down to 35 on the highway anytime i hit any kind of an incline), and like stated above, it sounds like an old box truck when its idleing. It really cant be mistaken for anything else once you hear it. If it didnt happen yet, carry an ice pick with you in your truck. I wish i had done that, instead i limped it home.

EGR block off plate(Done and Done), with finger stick on the bench waiting to be put in....

Just had to do the dreaded head gaskets on it, ARP studs, EGR block off, cleaned out intake, new water pump.....

You use ice pick on injector plugs mainly 2 and 7 so they make good contact with injectors again. Should also check wiring at alternator bracket at same time.

You will know for sure. Mine crapped out 10 miles from home after a 500mile round trip, (lucky me) it had little or no power and barely made it to my driveway. it sounded like a farm tractor too... I made an ice pick and poked #2and #7 and she ran perfect. At first I tried just cleaning the connectors and it did not help.
