LLY Mileage

Hey fellas, just checked my mileage after a full tank of bashin my truck around at the track and blowin smoke all over the mid-atlantic and got 19 mpg all city driving hand calculated! this was on 90hp tune. on stock tune, i'll get 15 if i did that. so that is my best so far, 19 mpg WOT city / 28 mpg hwy....man i love livin at sea level lol

i get about 15 around town and 20 on the highway empty, thats with 120 ppe tune

WOW that is even better then my 90hp EFI tune. Nice job. I guess I just need to beat the crap out of her more

Now, granted I still have my dinky little 245's on there. I'm gettin 285's soon, so i don't expect to be seeing these numbers for long!

ya the 285's hurt me right around 1 to 1.5 mpg. but its worth the trade to me

Dang, I need to get mine tune ASAP I haven't gotten better than like 13.5 14 mpg yet

ya the tone helps but only if you can keep your foot off the petal

lol that was my whole point i was blowin smoke all over everybody and still got better mileage than i would if i babied it on stock lol...gotta love diesels

28 on the highway? I thought mine was doing good at 22 on the highway with the 285's
