GMC guys with LBZ mouthpiece swap

Hey you GMC guys. I ground my LBZ mouthpiece down as far as I am willing to go for the EGR tube and it is still coming into contact with the hood when closed. Any other tricks to getting this thing to fit?

I just put mine on this weekend and took a piece of wood block and a rubber mallet and knocked the EGR elbow out of the way a little bit (just 3 good knocks with the mallet). Got it down to where the mouthpiece is perfectly level. I cut my AFE Stage II pipe off and put a 4.5 inch silicone 45 degree elbow on to join them up. Worked great and doesn't hit the hood.

The LLY stock moutpiece has quite a restrictive design so we are replacing it with the LBZ mouthpiece to reduce the restriction on the airflow into the turbo.
