Bose A pillar speaker

Is there a trick to getting this speaker out without breaking all the tabs?

Also, for those of you that used an aftermarket a pillar pod to mount your gauges, did you run the wires between the original a pillar and the aftermarket or did you drill a hole and run it behind the original?

thanks

N.

Perhaps I should be more clear.

I have an aftermarket autometer dual pod pillar. I am wondering if there is a trick to removing the bose speaker from the original pillar.
