I would like to know what the mpg difference is with a ppe economy vs. ppe standard. I don’t plan on doing much to my truck just exhaust and a killer bee intake.
I saw that but i just wanted to know if there was any other difference. The standard is only $50 more, i will just get that one if everything else is the same.
Yes the standard is the same with the addition of the 160 and 220 hp tunes, these are not ideal if you're looking to get some life out of your stock tranny. If you're going to leave it stock I would go with the economy.

I was wondering the same question and from my understanding of looking around, only the standard has capabilities of adjusting for tire size, speedometer, codes, etc.. Also the standard is upgradable with downloads from PPE. Is this correct or does the economy have all those capabilites?
yes, the standered can be updated where the ecomony can't

I just looked at ppe's web site and you guys are right with the economy you can only Read and clear Read Codes. I looked at these for awhile but never looked at the web site haha. Standard is what i will go with if i get one.
I read on another site that it changes speedometer reading and does some of the others but it must be wrong. It will definitely give you an increase in mileage, I would expect the 3 mpg that they claim and maybe more.
