I've looked thru the threads but haven't seen much on the 5" turbo back exhaust drone. My question is if i do a 5" turbo back straight pipe is the drone so bad its annoying or is it tolerable. I've heard it can be bad while towing also.

yea i have 4 inch duels and i have none of this so called (drone) i cant even hear my exhaust with the windows up maybe a little bit of noise thats it now with stacks it a different story
Thanks so i shouldn't have a problem with them, but it is load out side of the truck right. When i go sled pulling i want people to know a truck is coming.

a 5in on a duramax is like huge stacks on a cummins.....its just the way it should be....my buddy has a 5in turbo back to a 7in tip and when he sled pulled ppl covered their kids ears.....
