FingerStick???

If I do the egr block off plate, do I need to get a fingerstick? I have edge juice w/att hot unlock??? Thanks Andy

is your truck federal emissions or cali emissions? federal will say "fe9" in your glove box. if its a fe9 truck, you wont need the stick.

I have an FE9 truck and it causes my light to come on sometimes. I just turn it off with the Edge box, but I should really install a fingerstick. I thought the same thing about mine before the install.

The edge should be able to block the 402,403, and 404 codes, but the 401 is the one setting the check engine light.

I've had the po401 on for as long as I've had my 4" exhaust and it has never turned on the SES light. It did it almost immediately after the blocker plate. I've read several times that the FE9 trucks are usually ok with both of these, so why is mine doing it? Maybe it it is just sensitive?? Haha

I had the same code..I unhooked my Batteries for 30 minutes and never had the code again...
