LBZ intake mod.

So i put this thing on and noticed now my EGT's are going up farther.I did not do the whole stock intake.I have a AEM Brute Force on the front of it with the huge filter.I am hitting 1300° without towing.Before I was hitting 1150°.Whats happening?

Hopefully an anomally is happening, cuz I just finished my LBZ install. Mine is still stock box though. I'm about to go drive it. If I notice high EGTs I'll post back so you know it's not just you.

I didn't see higher EGTs driving mine around. I did however have some lag when dropping the hammer at around 35mph. It did this a few times where I would hit the gas, I could tell the turbo was spooling u, but the truck kinda lagged or bogged down and then took off. So I took it for a bit longer drive on the back roads and gave it a good run. The lag issue seemed to stop. Hopefully your high EGT works out.

I noticed that too. Could it be something with the Allison learning, and shifting different? It does get better though.

That's what I was thinking, was some kind of break in or learning time needed.

Same effect as changing the Tune, AND it's a big change.
