05 Dmax high egts with edge

New to the forum work at a gm dealership. I just bought an 05 d max has a 4" straight pipe, cool air intake, and edge programmer with attitude monitor. Sometimes sitting at an idle my egts jump to 1800 and i am consitently getting 1800 when on the pedal 1/2 to full throttle. Doesnt seem to matter whether i am on stage 1 or 5 same condition. The probe is in the right exhaust manifold. Also has seperate egt probe at the rear of the turbo. Never get high egts from that probe. Any ideas. Am i just not getting the exhaust out quick enough, bad probe, programmer issues any will help thanks.

your edge monitor maybe bad. 1800 at idle is way off...send it back to edge to have it checked

I had a similar issue with my Edge Evolution, replaced the EGT probe and solved the problem.

thanks for the info so far. I will check the probe and verify everthing is kosher there. What else can I do to help wake this thing up even more without spending mucho bucks?

Fix the turbo inlet (mouth piece) as mentioned above. GM also had a buliten on overheating for the lly that addressed this.
