Best option for boost

Hey guys i have a question about the PPE boost valve vs the setup from Kennedy Diesel, the kd setup as far as i can read is a harness assembly and the ppe is a mechanical valve, i no you wont see the benefits with out more fuel but im looking for some input from anyone that has tried either one.

Im not 100% sure but the PPE one only works on waste gated turbos - so anything after 04 it wouldnt work on. And i also believe that the computer controls the boost on all the newer engines so you would need to modify that which is why they have a "harness assembly". my .02

i have that same model truck as you and i got a ppe bosst controller. well worth the money if you dont already have a good programer that already increases boost. i almost doubled my boost. very dangerous tho if you dont have guages

ive ran up to 38 psi with the knob almost turned all the way up. anymore on a stock charger and you'll be getting a new one. as far as the sound it made my turbo whistle alot more, before i got it at about 50 mph i couldnt even hear my turbo but now i can def hear it alot better. it even does this really cool little sound when you let off the throttle real fast when the turbo is charged up. shoots your smoke a little further out the exhaust too! i have found no falts with it so far tho.

28-30 without induction overhaul, 34-36 psi with induction overhaul. (sea level)

These represent the same shaft HP and rpm. Above this, wear is highly accelerated. If you ar higher elevation, subtract your elevation in psi, eg, for denver, subtract 2 psi.
