2005 Hd2500 Custom Tune Needed

OK...I'm looking for a custom tune. I also want the ability to change back to stock (Truck still under warranty) Looking for a mild tune upgrade to enhance power for towing my boat
(7500 lbs) I've talked to Killer Bee regarding buying an ECM programmed with EFI live. Not sure of the price from Killer Bee. Hopefully Michael will respond this week. I did receive a call back from Kennedy Diesel....Programming the tune $695.00 purchase of additional ECM $300.00. Basically a thousand bucks for that option. Any ideas? Suggestions? I have heard how good that EFI live is, but I really don't have time to learn another program....

When you buy EFI Live from one of the venders on here they give you two free tunes. I would recommend that but it will void your warranty once you go in for work.

I was told that the 2005 doesn't hard code changes to the memory. So if I did buy EFI live I guess I would have the option to revert back to the stock tune without the dealer seeing the changes???

Correct, but make sure you put the truck back into stock tuning before going to the dealership. EFI live is the way to go because you can get more tunes from others if you feel the need for more.

Sorry I was unsure if they could them or not. You could put in a DSP switch just hid it well so when you bring it in switch it too stock and they don't know the switch is there then you'll be ok.

Trust me, I am better. Not sure where the confusion was. Here it is, laid out. 100% guaranteed, and that is because I have a lot of investment in this product.

"I have heard how good that EFI live is"

Just to clarify, it is as good, and as bad, as the expertise pounding the keys. You made a good decision with the "time" involved. I spent 2 years learning it, before marketing it.

This is a newly released product for me. Prices will be going up in the near future as it catches on, but for now it is priced for value. You get over 3 years of development for half that.

Nobody is doing tuning the way I have. This is completely original, and simply, if not tickled, send it back, no questions, no risk.

FWIW

X2 on KB's tunes. The time and work he's put into them alone makes them worth the money. I know you won't be disappointed with his work!!

PS: nice avatar KB... lol

i deleted it for 2 reasons,1 no advertising in this section(since the thread starter is posing a questions with his post vs advertising i let his slide),2 advertising a non DF sponsor so i deleted it!
