Alright I am new to the site and have a few questions. My buddy had a wet nitrous kit he wanted to get rid of, so I couldn't pass up the deal. Now I know that my tranny isn't going to hold up, but i do plan on stacking the edge up with the predator and adding a lift pump to supply the fuel. What problems am I looking at with running the nitrous, engine wise? I am currently running a .056 jet right now, which is rated right around a 150 HP

I wouldn't do that without some internal mods first. You'll end up with some messed up rods, and not to mention your tranny will be shot. Playing with big power can cost you big bucks

Yeah the tranny is gettin worked on right now, I knew that wasn't goin to handle it. But i haven't heard of to many people having problems with internals of the motor.

like duramaxin said get rid of the edge and diablo that you are wanting to run together and do the EFILive(the reason i say EFILive your option are endless)and add the hp your stock internal engine will allow with the Nitros..

These trucks are expensive, cause you can't leave em alone. I just experienced my first slippage of the clutch today, so it is off to the shop here real soon. I have been kind of nervous w/EFILive, because it takes alot of time and I am kind of computer illiterate. Is it real easy to use. I don't know of anyone in Utah that is using it.

some of the hottest runnin Duramax's are from the western states,Idaho and other states up there but if you don't feel comfortable with the EFILive go w/t PPE..
