Your CP3 pump is fine. You may need to shim the FPRV, but that's no biggie.

so if i were upgrade to a six speed allison would that help with power or is just building up my 5spd the way to go

Just build your 5spd. The 6spd wont hold anymore power then the 5spd if built right and it will cost more to put in a 6spd.

Depends on what your future plans are, the standard is all the stock tranny can handle and can be upgraded to the higher versions if you ever upgrade the tranny.

ya for sure the standard is plenty i have the hot +2 just cuz i got a really good deal on it, got it about the same price for a new standard, im looking at selling it pretty soon too! pm me if ya would like.

what would you guys suggest for a tranny build up
i wont be goin to crazy with my rig
it is mostly a dd and it will pull a trailor every once in awhile
i would just like to make guys in camaros and mustangs go what the fuck as the get smoke screened
