double stacking

ive got a 04 lly that im planning on double stacking chips on
ive got a superchip micro max tuner for it right now and i was wondering what i should double it up with

i was leaning toward the edge juice cause i want on the fly adjustments and all the digital gauges and what not

but after reading on the forum it seems like maybe the edge isnt the best idea

what would you guys suggest

would a banks six gun be better or maybe something else

thanks

Don't stack plan and simple.

i would also try to sway you away from stacking.

there are plenty of tuners that will provide more than enough power than a stock trans can handle.

IIRC you can't stack two chips anyway. Only a chip and programmer can stack. Either way i don't suggest you do it. Especially since there is so much out there now that can give your better performance without the danger of a stack.

Why do you want to stack?

my freind has his stroker stacked and it runs pretty damn good
so i thought it sounded like a good idea to do on my truck
but from the sounds of it its not such a good idea

so what the best bang for the buck would be the real question now

i really want on the fly adjustment so is that basically a choice between banks' pda and the attitude monitor or does somebody make something more amazing that i dont even know about

What do you do with your truck and do you plan on building it later and how much do you want to spend?

well if you want on the fly you're pretty limited....but if you don't want on the fly then efi live is by far the best but as for a canned tuner i am extremely satisfied with my PPE standard as are most people that run them.

the reason it works good on ur buddys truck is because its a stroker not a duramax..... i would get ppe.... doesnt have on the fly tuning but thats bad for ur tranny anyways
