Parts in Calgary

Anyone got any recommends on any shops in town for simple stuff like an EGR plate? I find ordering stuff in from the US ends up in extra fees, currency conversion, over the border tax, our lame GST and so on

I could hack one up, but would sooner have nice one... Hence my question, still stands, for current and future projects alike

Nice, I'll try your link, what do you mean for emissions?

I haven't used any of these...yet but have order some parts up from one of them and will be picking them up when I get back to Canada.

dieselperformance.ca is in Calgary (I think "blackdeath" is his handle on here)
mplmotorsports.com is in Lacombe
nadp.ca is in Edmonton

Tried to see if Mopac.ca carried any diesel products buy they did not reply to my email and I haven't been back in Canada yet to go in peroson.

In the end you'll pay more than buying from the US but less hassle (paying someone else to have the hassle of shipping it). If you buy BD or MBRP products, they are Canadian comapnies so purchasing items from them is a bit easier as you won't have to pay customs duty. Just find one of the Canadain parts dealers and get them to order them up.

Oh some of the US companies will drop ship stuff from BD and MBRP to you as well. So, no duty.

Egr is part of the emissions system

Mopac does carry some stuff like air filters, exhaust etc....not much
Unlimited performance is another a little better selection of diesel stuff and they have a dyno

Thanks for the leads, I'll sniff around, I remember a place off of Glenmore before Pick yer Nose, north of Dairy Queen, they had a dyno day a few years back I recall, just can't remember the name of it

I see what you mean, sooner check around here and spend locally! I'll also try Andy at U/P, been years since I've been there, guess he does Diesel now!

I have a spare blocker plate I could sell. I believe it is labeled for LBZ & LLY.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll dig it up.
Where do you live?

Cheers.
