I am running 285's as well with t bars cranked have no problems. Just be sure to realign your truck if you crank it up.

I have "Cooper ATR's" on mine 285/75/16. Stock wheels, No lift yet. I Intend to put the torsion bar keys in as soon as the $ lets me. Mine seem to rub more in reverse.

mine also rubs more in reverse (actually that's about the only time) but i don't think it has anything to do with the fact that your in reverse, it's just that when in reverse the force of the reverse motion forces the front end down some thus making the tire closer to the fender
