Yeah you should be okay with that size you may have a little bit of fender rub at full lock on the steering. If you want you can give the torsion bar adjuster bolts a few turns and raise the front end up just a touch.

Tires fittment

I was not able to fit my tires which are BFG All Terrains 285/65/18 on 18"X9" 4.5" back spacing. The tires show on the BFG web site as 33" tall tires, but I measured them at 31.5". Also, I had to trim the lower bumber trim and twist the bars up 2" and now the clear in all conditions. I hope this helps you.

you can fit 315s only on stock wheels though you can put 305s on aftermarket wheels

yes you can fit a 33" tire under a 3/4Ton GM truck but depending what wheels you have will make a big difference how hard they rub or if they rub at all, like a 20" wheel if it is a 10" wide wheel with a 5"BP yes they will rub but if you drop that down to a 9" wide wheel with a 4.5"BP and run the same tire your chance of them rubbing has been cut in half.what i'm trying to say is don't go with too wide of a wheel and try to stay with a 4.5"BP versus a 5"BP for the most part..hope this helps
ps you'll have to crank the T/Bars up to clear 33" tires.

you shouldn't have any problem with that setup.

I may as well add to this chat...I was looking into stepping up to a 285/75/16 on the stock wheels when my truck needs new tires...I just got it a week ago but tires don't last real long in my neck of the woods (I have a heavy foot). I was just wondering if these tires would fit and how much rubbing I am going to have to deal with?
