Cat delete pipe ?'s

Can anyone tell me if I (just as a starting point for exhaust) use like a silverline or mrbp cat delete pipe if it will bolt up to the factory exhaust flange where the cat would have bolted up? All the ones that I can find are 4" outlets, will this bolt up directly to the factory exhaust? Thanks.

Hmm not sure you'll have to get a pic of theres. Your factory exhaust is 3.5 inches. The only reason why id say no is IIRC the peace where the cat is, is one whole section from the downpipe to back behind the cat.

You can do what I did for my muffler delete. Get a 3.5inch stick of exhaust tubing and 2 stainless band clamps. Cut the cat out and cut the pipe to length then install. Heres a pic of my exhaust.

I have the factory downpipe off of my '03. It is what you need to delete a cat on your truck.

What is the size of outlet of the factory pipe (3.5?)? The pics i've seen of it (silverline's anyway) has the flange on the end, wasn't sure if it would make any difference since it was 4" at the front pipe out going into 3.5 stock (for now ). Thanks, need the input so i can get a decision made on what/how to finish the exhaust. Any of the vendors have prices or info, feel free to answer or pm.

No not yet. I actually bought both of them but never installed then. The EGR is optional but the finger stick is needed if you do the blocler plate sometimes if you straight pipe it because it sets a service engine soon light. I set the SES light about 20 minutes after I straight piped it and it has only come on about 5 times since then. I think the Computer compensated it after a while.
