Banks may be expensive but they are definitely worth it.I have the 6 Gun Power PDA,Monster Duals & Ram Air w/ Scoop on my '06 LBZ.The power is awesome. The assortment of gauge selections and performance logs keep you informed on everything. They are a nice product. At 6 I get a little noticable smoke but not much. The trans shifts perfect and smooth.Just my $ .02.

It is too bad they don't replace the only LLY intake piece that has big benefit potential.

So what are your plans when you het to a high water crossing.

that would be my worst fear on having that lower scoop is high water...JDMDCRX,if your installing a EGR probe take the left front tire off and the inner fender out and the manifold is right there so you don't need to reach in the top other then to place the lead wire to the Probe..

let the truck idle and dip the drill bit into some oil before starting and again just before drilling all the way thru and what ever shaving do drop inside will go out the exhaust with out a problem..i have done quite few probes like that and never had a problem

Now if you are getting floods you take out your #3 Phillips out take the lid out and there is a big 4x5 " plate on the side of the box that you pull out and then bolt the lid back on. Take a whole 2min.

My dad knows if there is a big flooded part of the road to pull out the flap. Im gonna build a plug to drop in the hole also.

Now today we went on the highway and at 100km per hour when you WOT the truck pulls alot harder then without the scoop due to the moving air. Its a real noticeable. Soon as it kicks down you are in boost no waiting slight wait for the turbo to spool.

Well air will get pushed out that no brainer but the bottom of the opening is slooped up channelin air up. If you realy wanted to you could cover it up with duct tape or pernamently seal it with plastic. I did a volant with a scoop before we went threw puddles up the bumper. If you are reving the piss out of the motor in the water yeah well you are going to great enough vacum to pull water in of course.

I think all in all it is a great design for people who want to bolt it on.

You still get a ram air effect but you also get colder dense air.

Yes at about 140km per hour with a 5x3" opening to replace the head light on my CRX we saw a 1 psi in the manifold pressure.

Yeah ill see when i can get over to the dyno.
