I never really looked but id think it would be hard to get rid if everything and sorta a waste of time. I think some of the EGR devises are apart of other usefull parts of the truck. Plus I doubt there is alot of actual weight added there

You have a blocker plate that will not do away with the egr tube, You will install that in the back were the raiser tube comes up to the egr tube.PPE stopped selling these awhile back the EPA had a talk with them at SEMA and they are no longer sold just taled to Dan at PPE about one for a friend and could not get one.blocker and egr delete are different.

If you remove the egr tube, you will need a heavier plate than a block off plate. I have done it on a LLY without problems.

Need something to remove the codes and a heavy plate to cap off the up-pipe. You can also use an up-pipe from a LB7, as these do not have the egr runner.

I used this stuff that my company sells called "freeze and release" It works wonders.....spray it on any kind of nuts or bolts....give it about 30 seconds and they come of with little pressure. Let me know if anybody wants to try it, its only 9 dollars a can and it is well worth it!
