Boost Boost

I love hearing the sound of the turbo whining up and was wondering to ge the PPE turbo booster for the LLY. I looked on ebay and all i see is for the 01 - 04. Shouldnt that work for my 05?????

no it wont that will only work on the lb7 motors with the fixed vain turbo, look on ppe's site and look up the boost controller, thats what you need

You can also look at the Kennedy Diesel "boost stick". It is much cheaper than the PPE controller, but is not adjustable. You can also plug the resonater and that will make it whine a little more.

Before you fiddle with LLY boost, read THIS article. You could be the next victim. Also, do not augment boost unless you have a separately monitored boost gauge. MAP sensor damage PLUS boost augmentation means quick death.

Here is the question of the day? How do we regulars solve this problem that you have mathematically proven? (I understand all of it as I am a engineer myself) Do we pull our intake off and shave it? or what would be you suggestions?

i have a good used PPE Boost controller that is in perfrect working condition, asking price $175 shipped to you,,reason for removal with a PPE and TS chip stacked i have more then enough boost from my stock turbo so thats why i no longer need the PPE Boost Controller..works on all LLY and LBZ Duramax's

with the boost controller you can see up to 40PSI but that much boost is realy hard on your turbo but you can easily control it so that it only adds 30-33PSI which is within safety of your stock turbo..
