I talked a guy at work into getting a chip and gauges being that he just bought a new 5th wheel camper. Now he wants me to put in the gauges, I dont know much about lly's as i have a lb7. where do you tap for the boost gauge pics would be helpful. thanks in advance. it is a 05 lly

For several reasons, the only acceptable place to monitor boost is at the compressor discharge. The reading here will tell many tales about the integrity of the remaining induction tract.
Because it is a very hot location, you will need to run 6" metal line, then splice to your plastic. This will keep the plastic from melting.

Thats where I tapped mine at! I tapped it on the back side or underneath so you dont see the wires under the hood and it looks "cleaner".
