With the help from reading posts from this forum, I purchased my MBRP downpipe back exhaust system for my 04.5 LLY. But I am still a little confused. Do I need an EGR block plate with the new exhaust? I've been told by a local performance shop that I don't, but the MBRP website says that I will need their PPE EGR False Code Eliminator to stop 401 & 404 codes due to free flowing aftermarket exhaust systems. In what direction should I go...do nothing...EGR block plate...or...PPE EGR False Code Eliminator?
