Race Valve Installation

Does anyone know how to easily remove the valve to install a shim kit or race valve? I think somebody got happy with the lok-tite.

Not a easy way. I had to use a wobble socket and was able to get a 1/2 drive ratchet with a BIG cheater pipe.

I use a 18mm 6 point box end wrench that is ground down flat for max. bite. I then "double wrench" it. Haven't had one that I couldn't break free that way. Might want to wear an elbow pad when that thing breaks free!

first off you want to have lots of swear words ready to use with this kinda prodject other then that i think Rob and Kyle covered it..

Race valve ok for the street? Or is the shim kit recommended? Its a everyday driver plus i run at the track every couple weekends.At the track i get the p1093 to come up when i run the bullydog extreme program sometimes

I would just recommend the shim kit.

All good advice here so far. My way of removing it though i have a small 3/8 air gun i use with a snap on swivel 18mm impact socket ground down like rob saidabout his wrench, works sweet just make sure its held tight to the nut, you dont want to round it off.....
