| I have used Motul for a long time. But not in my diesel, I use it in my old 2 stroke road race bikes. I use their brake fluid in my muscle cars and in my bikes. Do they have a diesel specific oil, and IF they do is it certified for use in the 07.5 and 08 DPF equipped diesels, because the zinc and phospoprus are the main components that clog up catylitic converters and DPF filters.
I understand the need for these EP lubricants in flat tappet engines, but the new diesels cant have much of them in their oil, lest they foul the emissions systems and that won't be covered under warranty. It's terribly expensive to replace these emissions components.
