Exclamation Po301? Wtf

I had somewhat of a interesting morning with my 06. I went to start the truck it acted like a dead battery. I checked it with a volt meter and got 12.0 volts on 1 and 2. But it persisted to click rather than starting. First I removed the PPE programmer. Then checked the terminals, both battery's were tight. Then I decided to remove both battery terminals pos. and neg. to reset. I put the battery's back in and the truck started. Gave me PO301,PO401, and P2610. I know what they are but what would cause PO301 Cylinder 1 misfire?

P0301 means #1 injector balancing rate is probably very high. Meaning the injector is bad or maybe a piece of dirt got caught in it or is still caught in it.

Thanks. I have driven the truck up and down the road(10 miles) everything seems to be fine. I wasn't sure what would have caused this. I will clear it and keep my eye on it.

You better plan on changing the batteries-- they are at the end of their useful life. It probable will not start after you leave it set- and when it does start, the clock will reset to 12:00. Weal batteries will give you all kinds of other problems.

I have replaced the batterys about a year ago. I think I will take them into the GM dealer. They have a 78 month warranty. No sweat off my back. Thanks Bud.
