07 , 6.6 goes to limp mode

I have had this problem for about eight months now. my truck truck just goes into limp mode while towing a load and only does when towing. it feels as if it just isnt getting the required amount of fuel needed, i installed a chip that has helped.

Any answer out there? anything will help have all ready ran out of options.

Change filters frequently, taken to dealer and shops, still no answers

What does the check engine light say? Any codes? What programmer are you running and what power level while towing?

get the codes if you could that will help a ton

im goin to guess it is going to be a low fuel code and a shim kit may help or a lift pump

Fuel filter plugged? Fuel line collapsing? I would check the fuel lines and install a lift pump.

How are you running a gasser tuner on your diesel??
How many miles are on your 07?
Is it a new body style or Old body style?

Shim your FPRV. Don't use a race plug, it won't leave any safe pressure control for the fuel system.
