| 07 CAT Removal?
Was wondering about the new dot inspection process for the 07 Diesels.
I know I have an "06" LBZ engine but now in an Classic 07 titled truck that may fall under the 07 guidelines.
In NC, our inspections on gassers is out of the local stations hands. Computor
is hooked directly to State control and they pas or fail based on sensor results.
Does anyone know of any changes for 07 Diesel inspection changes.
What Im gettin at is I want ta lose my kitten! lol

| Dont know about down there but i know of one here in MD that lost its kitty. We dont have diesel inspections though, only gassers get tested.

Yea I never had either of my PSDs inspected other than the safety equipment
ie. lights, tires, horn ,signal operation that NC requires yearly.
Didnt know if any states have or will start a tail pipe test on the new diesel.
FYI: Me and my brother are heading to tha shop to work off my mom,s easter
lunch and crawl under my MAX. here kitty,kitty, kitty

| If its just a plug in emissions test than a device like a finger stick or efi live will keep the CEL off and the truck will pass!

| on my LBZ with the t/b exhaust it only gives me a code when i'm pulling for a distance,but i plan on changeing that here shortly

I ditched my cat on my 07 classic lbz, and running a 5" exhaust, no codes yet. Did buy blocker plate and fingure stick but have not installed yet. | |
