Safe to rinse off engine?

I'm new to posting on here so this might be in the wrong place all together! But, the other day my lower radiator hose ended up coming off of the radiator, and sprayed coolant everywhere. I got it fixed with a better hose clamp, but I was wondering if it's safe to rinse off the engine with low pressure as long as I cover up my intake and if the block isn't hot? I just hate the smell of burning coolant I'm getting now. Any info would be great. Thanks

Even if the block is hot? I once washed a 4 wheeler after riding it all day and it ended up cracking the block. Definitely don't want that to happen again

You can just use de-greaser. And no I wouldn't recommend putting cold water on the engine when it is hot but just let it sit for a bit and you will be fine.

These pictures are from when I first got the truck. The inner fenders are now painted black so it doesn't look retarded. I just got my drop shackles and traction bars in so when I get those put on I will post more updated pics
