Losing rail pressure/ losing power

Driving on the interstate from work tonight and cruise set on 70 the truck started slowing down and had very minimal power... Rail pressure was fluctuating between 900psi- 7800psi... I floored it and it would show 14,000 then start dropping down to 7k then 4k to around 900 them jump back to 8k before cruising fine and starting all over again... Finally made it to the house and as I was pulling in the driveway it dropped to 700-900psi and that was it... Any ideas??? Is this a cp3 gone bad??

Moving to LBZ --vehicle home-! Change the fuel filter-- and check the rubber fuel lines-- at the rear driver's valvecover and at the side of the trans. The lines get kinked and restrict fuel.

Orings in the fuel filter head are probably shot, sucking air.

Try a fresh fuel filter before rebuilding with new orings.
