Popped a p2564 code and my gas gauge dropped to zero. And it won't let me clear the code. I'm on a road trip so I need some help figuring out what this is. Thanks.
The code is turbo vane issue...cannot think of a correlation with fuel gauge. might check the wires to turbo (i think they chafe on left valve cover) but the fuel gauge is a diff story....sender or gauge motor
if the vanes are stuck open it would be ok i would think, although if its a wiring issue you might run into another problem...if it starts running bad or something out of the norm, shut her down
Well she seemed like she has been running completely fine...well I stopped at a gas station to wiggle some wires going to the turbo, started the truck back up and the gas gauge worked and I was able to clear the code...maybe a fluke?
