Got in an accident.

Long story short driving home from walgreens got rear ended at 40-50 mph. And pushed me into the next three cars. Does anyone know if ill be able to buy my truck back if the frame ends up being bent? This is my first accident

It is all gonna depend on who your insurance is thru, but more than likely they will give you the option...

GUy behind you was flyin. With the water on the ground I'm guessing they were traveling too fast for conditions.
The insurance company will usually give you the option to buy it back. You may need to ask the question though.
Make sure they give you fair value too. They will try to lowball everything they can from the condition of the paint to the miles on the odometer, especially since it's someone elses insurance that should be paying for it since it's someone elses fault.
DON'T TAKE THE FIRST SETTELEMENT!!!!! If you don't feel good about it, talk with your insurance company and try to get some help.

your truck aint hurt. Got pictures of the poor sap that hit you? That trailer hitch ball being folded up under there tells me that the fellow that hit you must be ailing.

In answer to your original question: You have the right to keep your truck and collect the difference between the junk value and the pre accident value.

You are not entitled to "profit" from the accident...but most folks savvy enough to buy back do somewhat. From the pics though, I doubt you are totalled.....your truck worth a minimum of 20K unless super high miler. I see maybe 6K at the body shop. But again....I could be wrong.

from the looks of it, i know a place near me that can straighten frames better than when it was new. and the pics don't show any severe damage to the frame. the shop is is in alpha, ill and has been doing frame repairs for many years before auto dealers were able to do it.
you can pm me and i will give you the name of the place. the person that does the frame repair was taught by bear alignment. he is the best.
but i would say, the frame may be ok. only way to tell is to get an estimate.

I just had a very serious accident too. My truck is being repaired as we speak. Yours won't be totaled. The frame would have to be pretty f'd up, and it doesnt look like the damage went that far. But if it is you can buy it back for cheap.
