Yea you can't go wrong with a suncoast. Some people have had bad luck with ATS clutches, I had bad luck with the stage III ats kit I had.

so what does suncoast rate the stage IV kit at hp/tq wise? i know people are putting alot of power through them but what do they rate them for?

I think they rate it for 500hp and above. I know some guys are running some serious hp with a suncoast IV

what about tuning with the SC IV kit? will it work fine with the stock allison tuning? is there anything better to do for tuning or just efi live it?

ive heard its rated at around 750 hp

stock tuning is fine, i think you can adjust the shift points with efi live

also, get a programmer that can disable defueled shifts, ppe and efi live can do that.

can you still do light to medium duty towing with around 500hp and a stage IV?

so defueled shifts are safe with this kit? does it make it shift any firmer?
