there is a detroit/allison authorized tech place right next to me, literally my neighbor... how convenient . i might go talk to them tomarrow to see how much they will charge to install the kit
i got mine done at a allison authorized dealer also, and it wasnt cheap. i paid $1720 for them to install mine. just do some shopping around first. dont go to the cheap, back alley, redneck ran, in his garage shop, but just look at some other options before spending 1700 on a tranny install. ive seen some quality installs for around 1200.

If you are in the York area, IdahoRob recommended a builder in Baltimore. Said he was one of the best in the country. I was gonna go with him but it was too far and a PITA to drop it off and get back home.
