i got mine done at a allison authorized dealer also, and it wasnt cheap. i paid $1720 for them to install mine. just do some shopping around first. dont go to the cheap, back alley, redneck ran, in his garage shop, but just look at some other options before spending 1700 on a tranny install. ive seen some quality installs for around 1200.

this is the place Penn Detroit Diesel Allison - Welcome. there are a bunch of them between new york and pa but this one right beside me is in york, pa in a town called newberrytown, right off I-83. btw, i know people that work there so im goina try to work a deal lol

If you are in the York area, IdahoRob recommended a builder in Baltimore. Said he was one of the best in the country. I was gonna go with him but it was too far and a PITA to drop it off and get back home.
