How do you reset the "CHANGE FUEL FILTER" message on the dash?

If you have steering wheel controls....go the the Fuel Filter life...and then on the right hand side...I believe it's the very bottom control....hold it in for like 10 seconds or so. I think it's a pic of an arrow?

to reset your fuel filter life if you dont have steering wheel controlls turn key to run do not start and hold down the brake and go pedal at the same time for ten seconds this also works on vehicles with steering controls
Most change the transmission filter ever 5,000 miles. I switched to synthetic atf at 7,500 miles and added a deep pan with new internal deep pan filter. You can get the red external filter from any Allison dealer for about $10, GM dealers want between $35 and $45 for the exact same thing. I bought my fuel filters online at kennedy's diesel, again the price is much better for the same thing. These are great trucks.
