engine light help 06 duramax

i have an 06 duramax, 50,000 miles. the usual aftermarket exhaust, programmer, and intake. runs decent, but if i hold it very long, usually when it gets over 100 mph the engine light comes on and i get codes like "engine overbooster" "egr" and something about a thermostat bullydog said it was because of the aftermarket exhaust having no cats and it wasn't a big deal any comments or ideas how to stop it or if i should worry about it

when the light comes on do you get a 2K rpm gov?
the way to stop the EGR codes is installing the EGR block plate and the Fingerstick..

Get the codes and I will tell you exactly what they mean. It sounds like it might be going into limp.

i have an 07 with 18,000km and its doing the exact same thing. replaced the map sensor a few days ago and worked fine until thismorning. its going to the dealership tomorrow to be looked at. code said turbo overboost or something like that. it goes into limp mode and the only way i can get it out is by unplugging the map sensor, but the CEL still is on. also, when i turn the truck off, i can hear a solenoid or something buzzing for a few seconds

the exact codes are:

po401 --EGR Flow insuficient
po108 --BARO Circuit High Manifold Absolute Pressure
po128 --Coolant Thermostat Malfunction
po234 --Engine Overboost

I got the names of each code off of bullydog dtc's list

The LBZs are very picky motors. I see these codes thrown all the time in the LBZ motors. Chances are, it has to do with your tuner (Crazy Larry is known to do this) so EFI Live may be something you might want to look into if you get tired of throwing these codes. You can completely eliminate these codes because the motor will not even run a diagnostic on startup. Your best bet right now is to clear the codes and start over. If it throws them again, tell us what you were doing when it happened. ex: boost pressure, throttle position, EGTs roughly..........just as detailed as you can.

Blocker plate maybe?
po108 --BARO Circuit High Manifold Absolute Pressure
Most likely from after market filter, try cleaning MAP sensor. EFI can rescale the MAP tables to fix this if desired
po128 --Coolant Thermostat Malfunction
Got me there
po234 --Engine Overboost
Most likely from the tuner, EFI also can change parameters to fix

I got the names of each code off of bullydog dtc's list
As stated from Bryan, the codes can be turned off or parameters can be changed with EFI to fix your problems. The overboost code is the code that is limping the truck.

Take care,
Rob

it wasn't the crazy larry setting, it was the 130-150 setting or whatever it is. unfortunatly i don't have any gauges so the only thing i can tell you is the throttle position...wfo! It usually throws them when i hit over 100 mph
