that is a EGT probe you see..it prob had like a Edge Evo or something to that nature since i dont think they make the Juice for the 06LLY..i'm guessing it has a tune of some sort on the ECM using a power tuner downloader of sorts!

ok all that makes sense to me. do i need to return to stock since i dont know what it is and if so how can i do that? what will it hurt to drive like it is until i can get which ever programmer i decide on?

This gen has been the most difficult to go smokeless with tuning. I am hoping that soon I will have a way to control fuel/air ratio. This will fix the problem.

My 06 LBZ does the same thing and it is basically stock except for the items below. During the day light hours you cant see it smoke but like you said you can see it through someones head lights at night.

yea my 06 LBZ does the same thing, i noticed it when it was stock, know that i have a 5" exhaust and a couple other mods its noticalble only at nite when someone is behind you with there headlights on, kinda wierd, i always wondered what was up with that, my truckonly has 39,000 on it, been doing it since i got it at 20,000.

You might have the Edge Juice without the Attitude monitor, does the black wire run to a small toggle switch or no?

OK here is a bad cell phone picture of what I have. The braided end goes to a sensor in the passenger side exhaust manifold, the wire on the other side goes through the firewall and has a connector on the end that is not plugged into anything. Looks almost kinda sorta like a phone jack. The black box says edge performance on two sides and has no other markings.

i dunno man....that doesnt even look like a juice...might of been just a monitor of some sort...i would call edge and ask them
