Using a little oil???????

My 07 has about 15,000 miles on it now and it's running stronger than ever.

But it's using some oil. Is this normal on these trucks or do I have a problem.
It has used 2 quarts in the last 3,000 miles.

It has a C.A.I. and a 65 horse tune. Other than that is stock.

It's a 3500 dually flatbed dump truck. Pic in my sig.

T.I.A.

Do you tow heavy alot? It really shouldnt use any oil. My 06 with 29000 doesnt use any. If you tow heavy maybe oil is getting around a seal somewhere. Did you look under the truck and motor for leaks?

Yes, the truck is loaded heavy about 50% of the time.

There are no leaks. It runs great. Just a little concerned about it using oil at such low miles.

Check your exhaust to feel if it is sticky, other than the regular coal! It might be coming though the turbo. Also take the tuner off for a month or so and see if the problem still occurs.
