need help 2006 lbz lost power ????

i have an 06 lbz that i just lost power , light came on and won't go over 20 miles per hour . no smoke or anything idles smooth , i have noticed the last week when i get on it in third-forth gear seemed a little slugish ???

is there a way to clear codes without scan tool so i can drive into a dealer atleast ????

i have no cat , 4" exhaust , kn filter , and no programer

i have had truck for 5000 miles only and computer says i am down to about 40 percent left?????

Hard to say then? I'd change the fuel filter. The dealership or previous owner could have reset the computer with out doing the correct service!

You can try to disconnect the batteries for about 30 seconds it will reset anything minor. It sounds like a filter to me.

The only thing to try is unhook both batteries. But if the problem is still there the engine light will come back on! How many miles are on the truck?

45,000 miles on truck, is the fuel filter easy to change never done it on a chevy

Your first time might be fun but yeah its on the passenger side of the motor. unplug the water sensor at the bottom of the filter and spin the filter off. Use a pair of channel locks to remove the water seperator and replace both o-rings. they will come with the new filter.
