Angry what happens when one the glow plugs thread goes bad???

I really need your help. Two days ago it was time to change my glow plugs 'cause #4 was bad. So, I decided to have all 8 replaced. I took my truck to a shop to get the job done. When I came back job was done and here is the thing. They told that 2 glow plugs threads went bad when they were trying to get them off. I almost kill the guy when I found out that is a major work to get it fixed. Any suggestions as to get the problem fixed so next time I change the glow plugs I can do it myself. I don't want to do an overhaul. My truck is only 65k miles 06 2500hd LBZ. Truck is working fine now but that #@!@# really worrie me. PLEASE

BTW I'm overseas (south america) and down here there is no GM dealer.

Did he replace them all, or just some of them?

I talked to the guy again and pretty much told me what I've told you and also he did say that he pushed pressure the glows plugs. Truck is working fine so far but I'm worry not knowing what to do the they go bad. I think most likely when time comes I would have to do an overhaul to get the threads fixed up right??? Any ideas where I could get the necessary kit for the job???
