2001 LB7 code P0540

Just replaced all injectors.

Service Engine light, remained on.

Won't pass smog in California due to P0540.

Where is the heater gizmo?

Maybe I blew the fuse, or forgot to reconnect wire, I do remember hitting intake w a hot live cable and getting a nice little arc on the intake.

Do I have to go to dealer to reset engine light and code?

you can replace the heater with a plug then get the code turned off via efilive. its not really needed anyway

Air Intake heater diagnose

Ok

175 amp fuse ok, under fuse block cover. had to remove fender brace.

No 12 volt to heater when engine cold. Well, 70 degrees ambient san diego.

Wait to start light does come on.

Is air intake not cold enough to switch on power?

Where to look next, Relays?

P0540

Fuse ok.

No power to Battery side of Relay for AIH

Looks like when I removed Glow Plug control, put AIH power lead to ground post instead of Hot Batt post.

Will verify. Any one else done this?

I know this is a old thread but I just started getting this code and I thought I would ask here

Whats the name of this black controller box? I broke a chunk of this plastic box when I was installing my down pipe a while back, but never had a problem with it until I recently installed my new tunes. So Im thinking of changing it.
