Trans lines leaking

I have a 06 LBZ 6 speed with bullydog chip, exhaust, and shift kit. I have been running these for about 15,000 miles with no problem except the transmission cooler lines leaking. I have had them replaced by the factory twice. Is there any aftermarket lines or fixes that can handle the line pressure? They don't pour just drip a little. Between oil changes I might put a qt of fluid in trans. Has anyone heard of any of these lines blowing off.

I have never heard of a trans line blowing off. There really isnt THAT much pressure going through the cooler. You could always try braided lines, but if its leaking at the fitting near the trans or cooler, you can double up on band clamps.

No it is leaking around the rubber hose under the radiator. I am guessing that they put a short hose in there to keep down vibrations or make it easier to install.

It is very close. They cleaned the skid pan off the last time I took it to the dealer and now the skid pan front diff is wet again. It has been about 3 months now and 1500 miles. I checked the fluid and it is a little lower but its hard to tell with this little of time since it was filled.

A rubber line only leaks for a number of reasons.........waitta minute. You said it was under the radiator right? And that it was very short, if not tight? I wonder if its rubbing the hose thin and causing it to leak....

May want to try getting a longer hose and zip tying it up somewhere so it wont rub.

I think there are some others that are having this problem. Not sure if they ever found a fix though. Do a search on here and think there are a couple of threads talking about it.

Mine leaked as well, Its a common problem I hear. But, mine leaked from the fitting or clamp, maybe yours is rubbing on something, like stated above. better get crawling. I have heard about them going severeal times. Chevy probably replaces the lines with the same crappy ones that leak in the firt place..
