also just before my LBZ would throw a P0401(EGR Code)it would like seriously defuel even when running the PPE or EFILive..pain in the butt.

2006 LBZ GMC SLE C/C S/B,sold the truck to my dad for a business truck
My Truck now,1987 Chevy 2500 350 tweaked,6" SuperLift,350 V8 bored 60 over,Elderbrock headers Cam and Titanium Rockers,750 Twin Pumped Holley Carb and some other goodies.crank dynos over 400HP.

Not sure about ppe but it shouldent do it with efi if things are set right!
Jason, i have a few shim kits here if you wanna shim your valve sometime, let me know! I cant get the vid of your pull to load into email, ill try to load it on youttube and ill give it to you on the memory stick next time i c ya!

hey Caleb,the LBZ tune you made for me was great but it always tripped an EGR code plus had alot of Turbo lag and i tell ya i haven't had much luck trying to build a tune for it,alot worse then the LLY's.wondering if you have had any luck playing with the LBZ tunes.

Ya I know I know about the EFI.. Im still kicking myself for getting rid of it. Maybe Ill get another one after I get the tranny rebuilt!
I honestly never looked into a shim kit. How mutch of a difference will it really make? Im going away tomorrow but Ill have to get with you see what you want for it or to put it in my truck.
Hmm Ill p.m you my empty youtube account and password maybe you can load the vid on mine?! I thought you had a video camera I didnt know your was hand held till the nite of the pull. After I realized how good video yours takes Im going to buy a better camera next week that will take better video

If you are loosing rail pressure due to the FPRV it will help a lot. I was having this same type of problem on the dragstrip even with the lift pumps and never got a code for it. After the shim i have not had anymore problems, it pulls hard the whole way down the track.

Could also be the fuel filter- might try another filter. How long has it been since you changed it?
