Digital gauges

Have any of yall had any problems at your dealerships getting warranty work done because you had gauges or an outlook or attitude monitors installed in your trucks?

The attitude monitor I can see as it has to be hooked to the Juice in order to work. The Bully Dog Outlook will work as a stand alone unit so I don't see how it could cause any issues. Same with the Quadzilla Commander.

Some dealers are worse than others, would be wise to ask the service manager before you actually take your truck in there on what their take is on modifications and keeping your warranty.

Thanks, the only thing is the manifold has to be drilled for the pyrometer gauge so I dont know how I could hide that if I had to.

Talk to them before you install it.

True, however a set of gauges is not perfomance enhancing. Infact, it will help keep from overworking the motor. As long as you use a stand alone guage kit like the outlook or Quadzilla, that will operate without a chip or programmer on the truck you should be fine.

I agree with Diesel Nut. Gauges are definatly a safe thing to have.

If your dealership is going to get strict then id look at getting a recipt for your pyro getting installed. I'm not sure how your pyrometer was installed but Id get a recipt saying the manifold was removed drilled cleaned and re-installed. If you ever have turbo problems the dealer could say it was from shavings from your pyro.

Thats how I did mine. Better safe than sorry

That or find another dealer that won't be so strict.
